Do you ever get sick of life coming at you so fast all the time, that all you feel like you have time to do is just react to things? "Heaven Knows" we do too. It sure would be nice to get a choice from time to time. These cuts are for all of you out there just doing your best to keep up with the big kids. The world can be a very inhospitable place, everybody needs a punk rock song for a pillow from time to time. Here is yours.

Lyrics

Sift the ashes, find the clues.
Resent the matches, when they reveal it's you.
The memory's faded, but it's still the truth.
Why am I still jaded? What's a boy to do?
We're a long way from landing, been adrift for a while.
Miles and years from where I'm standing, innocent like a child.
Innocent like a child...
I'm just trying to find inspiration, I'm trying to find my way back,
Home to my generation, why can't all the big kids just slow down?
It's finally happened, for me and you.
It feels so tragic, albeit still so new.
We've barricaded, aggainst our youth.
But underestimated, the damage done by truth.
All this shame we're commanding, lived with it for a while.
The pace of play is demanding, standing there with a smile.
Standing there with a smile...
I'm just trying to find inspiration, I'm trying to find my way back,
Home to my generation, why can't all the big kids just slow down?
